Why I love to write

I love to write,I have been writing since I was eight years old after I read To Kill A Mocking Bird, for the first time and I realised.That’s what I wanna do with my life.

I loved the way Harper Lee made an entire world out of a simple enough story.I loved the way you can get a thousand different interpretations from a thousand different people about what that book meant.How the characters changed,what they felt,their pasts,what makes them the people we read about.I wanted to do that.

I wrote my first book at the age of ten.Up until then I just read anything I could get my hands on.I terrorised the local bookstores for months.Going in and reading the books in the nice comfy armchairs but not actually buying anything.They actually told my dad that unless I had a parent or gardain with me I couldnt come in anymore.

The book was called Home and it was about a girl who’s father died and left her and her mum and little sister penniless.They had to move to Alabama and live with her grandparents.Basicly the story from there is just the things that happen to her,how she finds love in an unlikely place ……..blah blah blah.

The second book was a bit better,it was called Were Meant To Be.This was when I was going through my,oh god I wish I had a boyfriend and bigger boobs,phase.It was a romance about two people who,despite all the hurt and sadness and tragedies that happened,still managed to find a way to be together.

Lately I have been juggling allot of projects which I have mentioned in a previous blog,the at the moment my pride and joy is (it finally has title!) Hope.It is a fantasy sorta a mix between Eragon and Lord Of The Rings,about a girl,Alloralla Calanor,who is an entire lands Hope.I cant say much more even though I’d really like to share but it’s TS (Top Secret) at the moment.
